How it began

From one table to fourteen countries

In 2019 our founder Vera was tired of buying the same coat twice — once in October, and again in February when it fell apart. She started sampling outerwear herself, in a studio shared with a bookbinder, using deadstock wool from a mill three hours north.

The first run was 40 coats. They sold in nine days. Six years later we still work with that same mill, still cut in batches of 80, and still answer customer emails ourselves.

What we believe

• Fabric first. A garment is only as good as what it's cut from — we start at the mill, not the mood board.
• Small batches. Limited runs mean less waste, fair wages, and no fire-sale discounting at season's end.
• Honest pricing. No fake "was $400" markdowns. The price you see is what the piece is worth.
• Repair, don't replace. Free repairs on seams and buttons for the first two years.

Where we make things

Our cutting and sewing happens in a 12-person workshop we've visited every quarter since 2020. Leather goods come from a family tannery using vegetable tanning. Every supplier is paid within 14 days — not 90.
